Camp Spirit, World Horizons

International Trips take the Marrowbone Creek spirit on the road: small groups of ten campers, two trip leaders, and itineraries built around nature, culture and service — from coastal hikes to farm stays.

Each trip opens and closes with three days at base camp, so travelers bond before departure and land softly on return.

Trip Questions

Where do trips go?

Destinations rotate yearly — recent trips explored the Blue Ridge, the Outer Banks and a partner farm camp abroad. This year’s routes are announced in spring.

What documents are needed?

A valid passport for trips abroad, plus our medical and consent forms. We walk every family through the paperwork in April.

How do you handle safety abroad?

Vetted stays, private transport, a 1:5 leader ratio, local guides everywhere, and an itinerary shared with parents down to the hour.
